Devon J5 Classic bass

From the workshop of Devon Smullen of Devon Bass Guitars comes a 5-string jazz monster. Devon’s trademark rounded fingerboard edges and C-shaped neck has an immediately comfortable feel and the neck is fast and slim front to back.

Devon does an unbelievable job rolling the neck sides, making it smooth and hand-friendly.

The chambered body brings pares back the weight but the bass doesn’t lose its presence. The tight B-string is articulate and the range of tones is wide.

The battery cover is magnetic as well and houses a nifty proprietary assembly that contains two 9v batteries, with a small handle. This neat system allows for a battery swap in about 5 seconds
