The SchoolSmart Equip Plan is designed to help schools obtain approved new musical instruments at the beginning of the agreement, with predictable payments spread over time.

The plan provides schools with a three-year rental arrangement, with payments spread across 12 school terms.
Importantly, the school knows the purchase price from the beginning, with locked-in buy prices available from day one.
At the end of the three-year rental period, if the school is still renting the instruments, the Rental funding provider will contact the school to discuss the next steps towards ownership.
This gives schools a clear pathway while avoiding the need to make the entire investment upfront.

What Musical Instruments Can Schools Rent?
Approved instruments available through the program include a broad range of school band and orchestral instruments, including:
Woodwind:
Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone and Bassoon
Brass:
Trumpet, Trombone, Euphonium, Baritone, Tenor Horn, Tuba and French Horn
Strings:
Cellos and Double Basses

What If Your School’s Needs Change?
One of the biggest advantages of a flexible equipment program is that schools aren’t necessarily locked into equipment they no longer require.
For approved products, schools have the option to return the instruments after 12 months — four terms of rental payments — with nothing further to pay, subject to the program’s terms and conditions.
