What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and Afterpay online. In-store we also accept EFTPOS and cash. Bank transfer can be arranged for larger orders, please contact us.
Can I pay in store after ordering online?
Yes. Choose Pay in Store at checkout. We will hold your order at our Carlingford showroom for a short time so you can come in and complete payment. If payment is not completed within the holding period the order is cancelled automatically.
Is GST included in the prices shown?
Yes. All prices on our website include 10% Australian GST as required by law. Goods exported outside Australia are GST-free, contact us for international orders.
Do you offer payment plans or finance?
Afterpay is available at checkout for eligible orders. For larger purchases such as pianos, please ask in store about staged payment options or finance through our partners.
Can I get an invoice with my business name and ABN?
Yes. Add your business name and ABN to the billing address at checkout, or email us after the order and we will reissue the invoice.
Shipping And Delivery
Where do you ship?
Anywhere in Australia. Free shipping applies to metropolitan areas of ACT, NSW, VIC, QLD and SA on items marked Free Shipping. International orders are available by quote, see our Shipping & Delivery page.
How long will my order take to arrive?
We aim to dispatch in-stock orders within 1 to 2 business days. Transit time then depends on your location, typically 1 to 4 business days for east-coast metro and longer for regional and remote addresses. Full table on the Shipping & Delivery page.
Can I track my order?
Yes. We email a tracking number when your order is dispatched, and you can also see status in My Orders.
Can I pick up my order in store?
Yes. Choose Pickup at Carlingford at checkout. We will let you know when the order is ready, and you can collect during trading hours from our 320 Pennant Hills Road showroom.
How are pianos and bulky items delivered?
Acoustic pianos, large digital pianos and complete drum kits use specialist freight. We contact you after the order to confirm a delivery window and access details. See Shipping & Delivery, Section 8 for the full process.
Returns, Refunds And Warranty
What is your returns policy?
Full details are on our Return Policy page. In short: returns are assessed under Australian Consumer Law plus any applicable manufacturer warranty, and we accept goods that are unmarked and complete with proof of purchase.
Do you accept change-of-mind returns?
Generally no, except where required by law. We strongly encourage you to visit the store or contact us before purchase if you are unsure about an instrument. See Return Policy for the detail.
How do I lodge a warranty claim?
Contact us first with proof of purchase. For brand-specific warranty contacts (Casio, Kawai), see the Brand Service Contacts section of our Return Policy. We will guide you through the process.
Are there items that cannot be returned?
Yes. Hygiene items such as harmonicas, mouthpieces and earphones cannot be returned once opened. Special-order or custom-finished instruments are also non-returnable except where they fail to meet a consumer guarantee. Full list on the Return Policy.
Service, Repair And Tuning
Do you service all brands?
Our in-house and partner technicians service most major brands. For specialised repairs we may forward your instrument to the manufacturer’s authorised service centre. See Service & Repair for the catalog of services.
Do you tune pianos?
Yes. We have concert-level piano tuners available. New acoustic pianos benefit from at least 2 weeks settling time after delivery before the first tuning. Contact us to arrange.
How much does a service cost?
It depends on the instrument and the work required. Our Service & Repair page lists current quoted services and standard fees. For anything custom we will inspect the instrument and quote before starting work.
Visiting The Store
Where are you located?
320 Pennant Hills Road, Carlingford NSW 2118. The nearest cross street is Coleman Avenue, opposite the Carlingford Light Rail Station. Parking is directly opposite the store, accessed from Lloyds Avenue.
What are your trading hours?
Mon to Wed 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Thu 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Fri 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Sat 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Sun closed. Holiday hours may vary, check our home page for current notices.
Can I try an instrument before buying?
Absolutely. Our showroom has a wide range of pianos, guitars, brass and woodwind instruments set up for hands-on testing. Our team are musicians and technicians and are happy to help you compare options.
Do I need to book to come in?
No, you can walk in any time during trading hours. For piano consultations or larger purchases it is sometimes helpful to call ahead so we can have suitable instruments ready and a senior team member available.
Account And Orders
How do I reset my password?
Visit the My Account page and click Lost your password?. We will email you a reset link. If you do not receive it, check your spam folder or contact us.
Where can I see my past orders?
Sign in and visit My Orders. You can review every past order, download invoices and check shipping status.
Can I update my saved address or details?
Yes, in Account Settings. Changes apply to future orders, not orders already placed.
Schools, Teachers And Institutions
Do you supply schools and music teachers?
Yes. We have direct contracts and supply programs for schools, music services, government bodies and educational institutions. See Education Sales for the program details and how to apply.
Do you offer rentals for students?
Yes. Brand-new student instruments are rentable from as low as $38/month. After 6 months you can return, continue, or own the instrument outright at the end of an agreed term. See Education Sales.
Can teachers get a discount?
Registered music teachers and schools have access to our institutional pricing program. Apply through Education Sales and our team will follow up.
Privacy And Security
How do you handle my personal information?
We follow the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles. Full details are in our Privacy Policy, including what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Is my payment information stored on your site?
No. Card details are entered into our payment provider’s secure form (Stripe, PayPal, Afterpay). We retain only the last four digits, the card type and the transaction reference for reconciliation.
How can I unsubscribe from marketing emails?
Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or email [email protected]. Transactional emails (order confirmations, shipping updates) are sent regardless of marketing preferences.
