The KDP120 uses Harmonic Imaging technology to capture the sound of the SK-EX concert grand piano, recording each key at multiple dynamic levels. This preserves the depth and resonance of each note so the piano responds naturally to every touch. The 40W speaker system amplifies the experience, filling the room with full sound even at low volumes with the Low Volume Balance feature.
With Bluetooth® MIDI and USB-MIDI the KDP120 connects to smart devices and can interact with music apps. Compatible with Kawai’s PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer apps, the KDP120 gives you an intuitive interface to adjust settings, display scores and lesson content from your smartphone or tablet. This allows you to expand your practice or explore creativity easily.
In addition to the grand piano sound the KDP120 has other instrument sounds – electric pianos, organs and strings – so you can try out different tones. Dual playing mode lets you layer two sounds together, so you can create unique combinations like piano and strings to inspire creativity.
