Casio Casiotone CT-S100 Specifications

Is the Casio CT-S100 a Good Keyboard for Beginners?

The Casio Casiotone CT-S100 is a practical entry-level keyboard for people who want to start playing without investing in a larger or more expensive instrument.

Its full-size keys, selection of instrument tones, accompaniment rhythms and built-in speakers provide an accessible introduction to keyboard playing. Its lightweight design is especially convenient for younger players, families and anyone who needs an instrument that can be moved or stored easily.

The CT-S100 is also suitable for casual music-making and experimenting with sounds. However, if your main goal is to develop piano technique, it is worth considering whether you need touch-sensitive keys or a weighted 88-key keyboard. These features are not offered by the CT-S100 in the same way as on more advanced learning keyboards and digital pianos.
