The Victor Bailey Jazz Bass is an Artist Signature bass guitar made by Fender for former Weather Report bassist Victor Bailey.
The Victor Bailey Artist line was introduced in 2001 and ended production in 2010.
Natural, Koa top, Rosewood/Mahogany body, Gloss urethane body finish, Modern C shaped Maple neck with a 9.5″ radius Rosewood fingerboard and medium frets, 34″ scale length, 1.5″ nut width, Fender Samarium Cobalt Noiseless (SCN) single coil Jazz Bass bridge and neck pickups, String thru body or top load bridge with the slotted barrel steel saddles, Fender lightweight vintage style tuners with the tapered shafts, 9.2 pounds.
The original preamp has been replaced by an Aguilar OBP-3. The original preamp is included with this sale. Not only is this a great-sounding bass, but is also one of the most beautiful bass guitars Fender has ever produced.
