Only the best materials are used to construct the Admira A20, their flagship of the Handcrafted series. All solid woods are used for the fine cedar top and dark rosewood back and sides. The Ebony fingerboard gives ongoing longevity, and the neck is kept stable by a strip of ebony wood inlaid in the back. The skill of the Spanish traditions is evident in all minor details, from the perfect wood binding and inlay on the back to the carefully shaped bone nut and saddle. A superb guitar with incredible power, yet a delicate and nuanced tonal response that only improves as the guitar ages and 'opens up' to the player.
Handcrafted according to Spanish tradition, the A20 features a Spanish heel, lightweight solid cedar tops and carefully constructed struts for power, volume and clarity in tone. The Spanish heel is a complicated neck joint where neck and heel are carved from one piece of wood that is interlocked with the sides of the body, giving enhanced tonal qualities compared to a standard glued neck design.
The builders chosen for the Admira Handcrafted workshop use premium wood and other materials including bone nut and saddle and quality machine heads for reliable and easy tuning.
