Mine gave me a scaled down Ludwig drum set. -Jason Bonham Jason Bonham was not quite four when his father, the legendary Led Zeppelinpowerhouse drummer John Bonham gave him his first drum kit. It was a sm aller replica of the exact set used by his father, and the first of manyas Jason grew to become a talented and dedicated musician. After playin g with a few bands, he went on to record and tour with Jimmy Page and play with Led Zeppelin. He later represented his father when the superbandwas inducted into the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame in 1995. Jason has perf ormed with Foreigner, UFO, famous guitarists Ted Nugent and Slash, and his own band, Bonham. In this very personal session taped in 1990, Jason discusses the many influences that helped him develop his unique style. He explores his approaches to time playing, drum fill ideas, drummer's attitude, and performing live. He discusses his equipment and how studio effects can enhance the sound of the drums.
