Haydn - String Quartet No. 5 in D major, Op. 76

This fifth quartet in the op. 76 group of six shows Haydn at his full musical maturity. Commonly known as the “Largo,” it is of haunting beauty. Contains a high-quality printed music score and a compact disc featuring the quartet in split-channel stereo with the violinist on the right channel; then again in an accompaniment version minus the solo violin part.
