All Gliga instruments have been professionally set up by our Luthier before they arrive in store. This includes upgraded string, bridge fitting and peg refitting plus many other modifications.
As a result, all Gliga have $100-$200 price increase to cover these modifications. Our website pricing is for a Gliga instrument without these improvements and cannot be used as an in-store price.

Handcrafted in the Romanian workshop of Vasile Gliga with sycamore maple. The outline of the instrument's body is deepened and the plates are precisely graduated. Special attention has been given to the deeply etched and well highlighted scroll. A greater number of coats of varnish are applied. All fittings manufactured by the Gliga company.
