All Gliga instruments have been professionally set up by our Luthier before they arrive in store. This includes upgraded string, bridge fitting and peg refitting plus many other modifications.
As a result, all Gliga have $100-$200 price increase to cover these modifications. Our website pricing is for a Gliga instrument without these improvements and cannot be used as an in-store price.

3/4 "Gliga I Series" cello in Dark Antique finish. Similar specifications to ‘Gliga II' but with better grade timbers and more handwork attention to plate thicknessing and outline contour on body and scroll producing an outstanding instrument for the advanced student.
This versatile cello delivers a robust performance and a full range of tonal colours for both solo and orchestral work. The ebony fittings and maple bridge are fashioned in the Gliga workshops.
