Here is a gorgeous 2009 Gibson Hummingbird made at the Gibson shop in Bozeman, Montana. This guitar has a perfect book matched Sitka spruce soundboard ( perfect Gibson book matching on their acoustic guitars have always been hit and miss) but this one is one of the best we have come across. The timbre /tone of this guitar is exceptional compared to most of the other ones we have had the pleasure of playing! That tells us that this guitar was made by one of the most experienced Luthier's at Gibson.
This guitar also comes with a factory installed original L.R. Baggs under saddle pick-up with the volume knob located in the top side of the soundhole. Look at the photo.
There are a couple of very slight dings in the finish, one on the end of the headstock and one on the heal edge. Some very slight finish scratches on the back. Please look at the photos.
It comes strung with Thomastik Infeld Plectrum strings (my personal favorite warm sounding strings). If you prefer more volume and brighter tone you will want to change the strings to your personal choice. It also comes with the original plush lined Gibson fitted hard case.
Note* The guitar in the attached video is not this guitar but is the same model Hummingbird.
