Christopher Norton Workshops & Masterclass

Join internationally acclaimed composer and educationalist, Christopher Norton, in a day of illuminating piano workshops.

Proudly presented by Carlingford Music Centre and Helen Perris Music Studio.

Christopher Norton, born in New Zealand and now based in London, is acclaimed as a composer, pianist, arranger and presenter. His pieces in popular styles, particularly the Microjazz and Microstyles collections for piano, have been featured by the ABRSM as well as other leading examination boards world-wide for over 25 years.

Microjazz is now the biggest selling series for Boosey & Hawkes, with well over a million sales to date. He is also the author of the Connections series for piano as well as the innovative American Popular Piano series.

Christopher Norton has presented successfully all over the world. His Piano Festivals have proved to be extremely effective and popular with both students and teachers. His latest venture, Micro Musicals, looks likely to repeat the success of his earlier Microjazz series.

Christopher integrates traditional teaching methods with modern technology. He is a passionate advocate for Steinway pianos, but he is also interested in using modern technology to enhance students’ learning experience.
